Our company representative will pick you up from the hotel and drop you to the TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport) for the departure to Lhasa with your visa and permit. During your 1 and half hour flight to Lhasa, you will be flying over the highest mountains Mt. Everest, Makalu and Mt. Kanchenjunga. Our Tibetan guide will be waiting for you at Lhasa Airport to welcome you. Then you drive to Lhasa City which is 60 km away from the Airport. Overnight stay at Hotel in Lhasa.

Visit to Potala Palace, the highest palace in Tibet built in 637 AD by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. It was the winter residence of the Dalai Lama until the 14th Dalai Lama fled to India. Potala Palace is now a museum and protected under the World Heritage Site. Ramoche Monastery, widely considered as the second most important temple after Jokhang Temple in Lhasa and Norbulingka, a summer residence of successive Dalai Lama until the 14th Dalai Lama's exile in 1959.

The second day, our representative will take you to the Jokhang temple, the most sacred and important temple located at the city center. This temple is the spiritual center of Tibet and the holiest destination for all the Tibetan Pilgrims. Sera Monastery (Monk training center), one of the three famous monasteries in the city and Barkhor Bazzar, the perfect place to shop in Lhasa.

Drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in Tibet surrounded by snow-capped mountains and high passes: Kora LA (5,010m) & Kamba LA (4,794 m). Sightseeing in Pholkor and Kumbum Monastery. Scenic drive to Xigatse and overnight at hotel.

Morning visit to Panchen Lama's Tashilhumpu Monastery. The monastery is the largest functioning religious institution in Tibet. More than 950 monks live here. Drive to Xegar over Gyatchula (Pass of 5200m). Then drive to Ronbuk and sightseeing in Robuk Monastery, highest monastery in the world. Overnight stay at hotel in Ronbuk.

Hike up to Everest Base Camp, one of the most visited region in the Himalaya. Explore around the base camp and back to Ronbuk. Drive to Xigatse. Overnight stay at hotel in Xigatse.

In the morning, you will visist to the Panchen Lama's Tashilhumpu Monastery. The monastery is the largest functioning religious institution in Tibet. More than 950 monks live here. Drive to Lhasa via typical Tibetan countryside.
