Itinerary



Our Tibet overland tour starts with an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Rasuwa Gadhi, by private vehicle which is in the Nepal side boarder.  From Rasuwa Gadhi drive up to the Kerung Border with some immigrationborder crossing formalities in both Nepal and China then continue the journey up to a beautiful George of Kerung Town. On the way, you will get to enjoy the clear views of the mountains such as - Langtang, Gaurisankar, Melungtse and Khumbu Himal range.

Our first stop on the Tibetan plateau will be on the 5200 m. high ( Lalung La Pass) from where we have a breathtaking view of the Himalayan range of Shisabangma, which is the highest peak in Tibet. While having lunch in Tingri, the peaks of Mt. Everest (Qomolongma for Tibetan) and Cho Oyu can be seen. This day our journey is long but the spectacular Tibetan plateau will make you forget time. Overnight in Lhatse in hotel.

Drive from Tingri to Xigatse via, Gyatchu La Pass (5,220m) visit to Tashilumpo Monastry inside you can see special attraction of future Buddha about 800 monks are living there. Overnight in hotel

Drive though the Tibet's biggest Agricultural field to Gyantse and visit to the Kumbum Stupa & Palkor Monastery. This monastery has a huge collection books in Sasnskrit script about Tibetan Buddhism. Overnight in Hotel.
