Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar overland tour offers you the most fascinating tourist attractions of Tibet. The major highlights of this tour are Mount Kailash, the epitome of natural beauty andthe holiest lake Mansarover in Tibet. It is believed that, a person who once crosses over the Kailash circuit will wash up all his/her sins. According to a myth, circling or rounding of Mt. Kailash for 108 times means earn one Nirvana (salvation). Likewise, according to Ramayan, a very popular Hindu epic, one who takes bath in Mansarover Lake makes his / her way to Brahamalok (heaven). Itinerary
Drive from Kathmandu to Kerung (Tibet boarder) through scenic highway. You will meet our guide after the immigration formalities. Overnight stay at Guest House.

Today is your rest day at Kerung for acclimatization. Explore around Kerung and overnight stay at hotel

After breakfast, drive to Saga via Latse. It will take about 7 hours to reach Saga (390km). You will pass through Khunmen Tso, Sinling, Karru Ongchen and Peiku Tso Lake (4400m) along with Brahamaputra River. Overnight stay in guest house.

Drive to Paryang through the beautiful small town of Zhongba. Throughout your journey, you will see mountains. After several hours of drive, you will see the first view of Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarover. On the Northwest shore of the lake, chiu Monastery becomes visible as you approach the holy lake. The majestic scene of Mount Kailash can be seen from here. The heavenly scene of the Mansarover surrounded by Mt. Kailash, Mt.Gurula – Mandata and Lake Rakchyas will make you more exited to explore further interesting places. The turquoise complexion of the Lake Mansarover will make you feel that you are on paradise. Overnight stay at local guest house or tented camp

Enjoy few hours at the shores of the spectacular Mansarovar Lake. Drive to Darchen (40km). Overnight stay in a guesthouse. Darchen serves as the base for Mt. Kailashkora (circumambulation). The Kora is 53km in total and completed in three days.

Today is one of the exciting trekking daysof this tour. It will take approx. 7 hours to reach Dira – Puk (15 km) through the beautiful rocky cliffs and waterfalls. Overnight stay in guest house.
