DZA RONGPHU – Everest Base Camp

DAY 01 KATHMANDU - LHASA (3650m.)
 

Fly on Air China flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival at Gonggar Airport, our Tibetan guide will met you and transfers you to Lhasa City. O/nts at Hotel Flora.
DAY 02 / 03 LHASA SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Visit the Potala & Norbulinka Palace, Deprung & Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazaar
DAY 05 GYANTSE- SHIGATSE (3900m.)- 90 Kms.

AM: Visit The Khumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery at Gyantse. Embark on a Pleasant 2 hrs. Drive to Shigatse PM: Sightseeing Tour of the Tashilunpo Monastery and the free Tibetan market.
DAY 06 SHIGATSE - XEGAR (3900M.) - 244 Kms.
Drive to (Approx.8 hrs.) Xegar . O/ nt at Guest House.
DAY 07 XEGAR - DZA RONGPHU (4920m.) - 60 Kms.

Drive over rocky terrain on 4-WD by Land cruisers to the village of Dza Rongphu Lodge.
DAY 08 EVEREST BASE CAMP EXCURSION (4090m.)
 

AM: 2 hrs. trek from The Rongbuk Monastery will lead you to the base of the highest Peak on earth . The North Face of Mount Everest (8848m.)or Mount Quomolangma in Tibetan. Explore the Base Camp and the Rongphu Glacier. Retreat to lodge. Later in the afternoon, return to Tingri (approx 96 Kms/ 3 hrs). O/nt at Hotel Snowleopard.
DAY 09 TINGRI- NYALAM (3750m.) - 214 Kms.
 

Drive downhill to Nyalam crossing two spectacular passes the LALUNG LA ( 5082m.) & NYALAMU (3800m.) PASS. O/nt. at Snowlion Guest House.
DAY 10 NYALAMU- KATHMANDU (1200m.) - 123Kms.
 

Drive downhill to Zhangmu and to the Friendship Bridge where transportation awaits For the Groups final journey to Kathmandu.

Cost includes :

All transportation from Lhasa to Zhangmu by either private mini coach or Toyota Land Cruiser, sight seeing, main entry fees, an English speaking guide, accommodation in twin sharing basis in the Hotel or Guest Houses, breakfast and necessary travel permits flight ticket Lhasa to Kathmandu.
Cost excludes:

Emergency visa charge if not applied before one week, airport tax, Nepal re-entry visa, lunch, dinner, drinks, refreshment, cancellation of flights, reconfirmation of tickets, photograph fee inside the monastery, insurance and extra costs resulted due to land slide, accident or any drastic change of the situational.
